As with all brands we stock, we have access to the full range of bikes, but we can’t rave enough about the Merida e-spresso range. With mens, ladies and a low step through model available there is something to suit all needs. With the battery pack set low and in the middle of the bike the weight distribution is less affected, and so it handles just a normal bike does, making it truly pleasurable to ride. The range also has the new Shimano steps motor system. This provides the most natural feel when riding. By having less resistance when free wheeling, more torque for hill climbing and less requirements for maintenance than other well known brands. A winner all round, and one of the reasons we think this is a superior e-bike.

“At 4Play Cycles we believe in looking after the bikes we sell, and helping you keep them in great working order. We provide three services in the first year free of charge after you’ve bought your bikes from us. We advise that you bring your bike back to us after one months worth of riding, then six month’s and a year from the date of purchase so that we can give it a tune up and a ‘once over’. If you’ve not had chance to use your bike much with in its first month then wait a while until it has done some miles, unless of course you have any problems with it, in which case bring it in as soon as you can.”
